Hello Again
Hello Families!
The time children have been spending in the classroom has been so productive! As the Fifth marking term comes to a close so many children are reading advanced books and are beginning to write using complete sentences! It is a very exciting time to be in kindergarten especially in room 206! In science we are finished learning about Wood and are now learning about paper! We made our own particleboard statues and plywood sandwiches! In the upcoming weeks we will make our own paper. In Social Studies, Math, and Reading we have moved on to new themes! Our new reading thems is Around the World! We will be learning about all kinds of transportation! In Social Studies we will be starting a unit on Seasons, Calender and Time and over the course of the next three weeks we will explore how people tell time and what helps them to do so! Finally in Math we will be continuing with addition, subtraction and word problems but we will also be working on graphing.
